Based at Heath Common, near Wakefield, this is our second annual rally, and promises to be bigger and better than last year's! This is not just for bus enthusiasts - it is an ideal day out for all the family. Heath Common is a beautiful countryside venue with a real ale pub - The King's Arms. Our free services will run to Wakefield City Centre, Ossett, Pontefract, Normanton, Newmillerdam Country Park and The National Trust's Nostell Priory.
A comprehensive timetable showing vehicle allocations and details of each bus will be published in our 24-page full-colour souvenir programme, available from bus crews or our Control Centre outside The King's Arms for just £4. However, to get the most out of your day, it would be wise to order your copy in advance and plan your journeys beforehand. Your copy will be posted out to you a week before the event.
You can order your programme by sending a cheque or postal order (payable to "West Riding Omnibus Museum Trust") for £4.40 (includes postage) to WRBG, 79 Mountain Rd, Dewsbury, WF12 0BS. Alternatively, you can order on-line with any major debit or credit card by clicking this button:

The West Riding Bus Group was founded in 2011 by three members of Dewsbury Bus Museum, to simplify the legal processes of organising Running Day events in the West Riding Area.
WEST RIDING BUS GROUP - Chairman: Paul Salmon, Treasurer: Graham Dowson, Secretary: Tony Salmon (no relation!)
Dewsbury Bus Museum's Leyland Tiger, EHL 344, (pictured at last year's event) will be celebrating her Diamond Jubilee, along with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, having also entered service 60 years ago in 1952.
This bus will be running in service at the event, along with over a dozen others, from the West Riding area and other places.
If you own a suitable bus and would like to take part, please click either of these buttons to download an application form. There is a charge of just £3 for a static exhibit, but if your bus runs in service there is no charge. In fact we hope to send donations for every bus that runs in service.
